Information for Presenters

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations will be given in the CSIRO Auditorium. Time slots are of 30 min duration and presenters are asked to prepare a presentation of approximately 20-25 min to leave a couple of minutes for questions and answers. Presenters are expected to use their own laptops and should test their presentation in any break before their presentation to make sure that everything is working fine. Please approach us if you prefer to not use your own laptop and we will provide a substitute PC for the presentation.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster presentations will take place in the morning/afternoon tea area. Poster presenters are asked to bring with them a portrait oriented poster of maximum size A0. Posters should be attached during the lunch time break prior to the poster session. Means to attach the posters will be provided. Poster presenters are asked to remain at their poster during the duration of the poster session. Please let us know (info@bdva.net) before the conference if you need any other equipment, such as a power supply, table or Internet access, for your presentation.

DEMONSTRATIONS

Demonstrations are taking place in the same space and during the same time as the poster presentations. Demonstrators are asked to let us know (info@bdva.net) what equipment they need before the conference. We can provide a table, power supply, and Internet access. Any other equipment, such as screens, may be subject to availability.
